Hi I'm Rosetta

A dusting of insight

I'm an illustrator and designer living in Exeter in beautiful East Devon and I love creating in colour and spreading positivity and optimism where I can.

I like to help people communicate their creativity, values and personality with joyful and thoughtful design packed full of colour and optimism to create compelling visual storytelling.

I champion colour, creativity and community. If that sounds like you, welcome to Club Zest!

Behind the curtain

Story behind the brand

How did I come up with my brand name? It goes something like this. I adore food—I plan holidays, meet-ups and weekends around my next great culinary moment. Whether it’s my partner's cheese toastie from heaven, home made pizza, curry recipe or fine-dining experience, I’m all in. I’m particularly fond of citrus flavours and go in for anything zesty!

When I was thinking about what I wanted my brand to encompass I kept coming back to the idea of adding zest to food to bring out the flavour. And this is what I do for my clients—I bring out the flavour through illustration and design. When you work with me you ‘get the zest’. Cheesy line, absolutely fine.

My background

I run Get the Zest Creative from my home studio in Exeter, a city bursting with character in the South West's luscious county of Devon. I set up my business in May 2022 and returned to Devon shortly thereafter having lived and worked in London for 10 years across marketing, design & PR. I love learning and expanding my skills to help myself and those around me. I studied History of Art & Architecture at undergraduate level, have a Masters in Psychology, have completed my theoretical training in counselling and in my spare time I volunteer with Age UK Exeter as a befriender.

Included in my favourite things are my family and friends, crafting, art, illustration, community, psychology, 60s and 70s design, cats, Italian food, cooking, coffee table books, crime fiction, design and science podcasts, documentaries and expansive landscapes.

Working together

I know it's important you find a designer who gets you and your vision. It's important to me too. What makes for a great collaboration and experience is feeling aligned on design style, purpose and values.

I know, by placing your design needs in my hands you are handing over a big ball of trust, and that can be scary. But don't worry, I've got you.
